The Search For the Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine: (LDGM Simulation)

This is one of the world’s best and most used Experiential Learning Programs. It is a Business Simulation Game played as a board game with 5-6 teams each of upto 7 participants in a team. The participants play the game under some guidelines using the resources and work towards achieving a target. How the teams play, what results they achieve vis-à-vi what could have been achieved etc. form the post-game debrief. This is then linked back to the working of the organizations, teams and the current situation (Extensive data is collected as pre-work for this debrief).

DISC Assessment and Dynamic Communication Program
  1. DISC is one of the most researched and most used Psychometric Assessments which helps a person to understand his / her way of communicating with others. The assessment measures the about the OBSERVABLE BEHAVIOR of a person on the four parameters of DISC viz. :
    • Dominance (Result orientation)
    • Influencing (People orientation)
    • Steadiness (Pace orientation)
    • Compliance (Process orientation)
  2. Post the self-assessment and debriefing on the report, we run a Dynamic Communication Program to help participants understand the team’s strengths and areas of improvement.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is one of world’s most researched and widely used Psychometric Assessments. The assessment helps a person to understand own preferences on the four dichotomies of MBTI. The person understands his / her preferences on the factors of getting ENERGIZED, gathering INFORMATION, taking DECISIONS and leading to ACTION. This leads to developing sensitivity to how others preferences can be different than one’s and enhance communication and avoid personality-based conflicts.

As we all know, customers are an important part of any business. It is very important for every organization to ensure that all its people are customer-centric. Many times, though, we get such experiences that makes us to doubt whether the employees of an organization understand the importance of customers or not. This program aims at sensitizing the participants to the need for customer-centricity and the internal and external customer connect.
